The gentlemen of the geekhouse attended Charlie's Angels this weekend. I must say that I liked it. Welcome to camp cheese, ladies and gents. Very entertaining, lots of wire-type stunts, too cool. What more can you ask for, really? Was it just me or were there a whole lot of uncredited cameos in this film?

Sometimes I feel like an inconsiderate asshole.

Arcology Stuff
Arcology theory is interesting. Since the idea of manned spaceflight seems to have basically died I guess we're going to have to start figuring out how to stuff more people here in the space we have. The arcology folks actually seem to care about quality of living.

Tom Ray vs. Ray Kurzweil
An interesting tidbit about Tom Ray's work Tom Ray is a researcher doing work in artificial life, a field which fascinates me. I believe he is currently at the University of Oklahoma but it is a little hard to tell. I don't know much about him but the the stuff he writes and says he is doing is the stuff I want to do if I stay in the computer business.
