Just a quick question for you. If you were to opt-out of the success/commercialism rat-race what would your priorities be?

This was prompted by a post on ++greenspun's blog. (direct link: http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/philg/2003/11/02#a2852)

For my own part, I don't have an answer yet. In fact it's somewhat foreign to think about. I know educating myself and my children would be a priority. However, that takes on a different tone when not focussed on preparing to hit the working/buying world running. Regardless, education has too much intrinsic value to be neglected.
