The headspace now has the VERY rudimentary beginnings of an rss feed. At the moment the date information is all out of whack so the list of entries is more or less arbitrary. That should smooth out as I update. I think I'm going to have to go back and add capsule descriptions for every day.

I'm having a blah day. I'm having trouble getting motivated and I'm wondering what I'm doing with my life. Right now I have no goals, either short or long term. I need to get on it. I need to get out of this funk.

We bought our house and it totally kicks ass. If you haven't seen it yet you really should stop by. Call one of us for directions. I hope to buy or borrow a digital camera and put some pictures up in the very near future.

I love owning a house. I think it's one the best choices I've made in a long time. It's so nice to wake up in morning in my own place.

Amusingly, renting did not prepare me in the slightest for home ownership. I'm finding that I don't really even know the whole list of things that I need to think about for maintenance, etc. It's a strange new world. I need a home ownership for dummies. :P

Sadly, All is not happiness and light on the house front. When we made our offer on the house they accepted on the condition that the garage be exempted from inspections. I had thought this was due to it's dilapidated state. Last night, however, we discovered that it has a termite infestation. I'm not sure how bad the situation really is, but it looks bad. It's rather unnerving.

My initial gut-level response is to have the garage demolished and possibly rebuild it at some later date. It's already practically falling down. This infestation is just one more straw on the camel's back. The down side to that is that it might drive the termites in to the house. At the time of inspections the house was clean. Whatever we decide to do we have expensive treatments to look forward to.

I've been reading Eat, Drink, and be Healthy. So far I'm impressed. It seems to be a very practical guide to understanding your diet and it's effect on your health. I'm only in the second chapter, though. We shall see.

Some time ago I mentioned having borrowed .hack//infection from a friend. My review at that time was not exactly glowing. On a whim the other day I decided to download and watch a bunch of the related anime. That inspired me to give the game another chance. This time I'm really enjoying it. The camera control is still goofy but I don't notice as much now. It's interesting how much of a difference being engaged in the fiction of a game makes in my enjoyment of the gameplay.
