Happy valentines day to you all. If nothing else, you know I love you.

I tried to find an appropriate image to post but, glahh, the images that I come up with in a search for hearts, valentines, or love are just attrocious (excepting, perhaps, Courtney). Ugh. I appreciate the sentiment of valentines day... I really do. The crass commercialism, however, has got to go. That and the care bear aspects of it. Love can be sweet, for certain. If it's cloying, though, there might be a problem. I guess I'm just grumpy. Will you be my valentine?

I *don't* appreciate the sentiment. Call me bitter. :P I'd agree, though, that the commercial value of the holiday seems to outshine (though not in a good way) its meaning... *sigh*
